What happens when students, entrepreneurs, scientists and industry experts work together for two days on a challenge from the Hansebelt region?

We program, design, develop and create innovative solutions that advance companies in our region – powered by artificial intelligence! 🚀

In the evening, the teams presented their ideas in exciting pitches, and the results speak for themselves:

👉 The jury prize went to Team Stralsund with their innovative app idea “MeetingMinder”. The application not only transcribes and summarizes meetings, but also helps with structuring, e.g. through reminders for task distribution within the team. A virtual assistant that saves time and nerves!

👉 The audience award went to Team Wismar with “Waist:Wise”. This app uses AI to analyze leftover food and waste in the catering industry. The aim: more sustainable menu planning and less food waste thanks to individual optimization suggestions.

👉 Team Hamburg developed the “SmartBuyer” together with ARNESS GmbH & Co. The application revolutionizes the supplier search by automatically matching requirements and thus shortening the process from 8 hours to just 4 seconds.

👉 The Rostock team presented the “UMI Journey Mind” app together with the Stadtwerke Lübeck Group. It analyzes interview data in order to improve customer experiences and significantly reduce the evaluation effort.

👉 The “KI-Fördermittel Agent” from Team Lüneburg and WTSH GmbH makes the search for suitable funding programs much easier for consultants. Thanks to AI, projects can find the optimal funding opportunities – a real innovation booster!

👉 The Greifswald team and Stritago GmbH have developed a solution that uses AI to analyze the renovation potential of buildings. Their approach delivers tailored refurbishment roadmaps, including suitable funding programs, based on the condition of the property.
